Annie Gordon Groom
Annie is a visual story teller, inspired by her habitat by the sea, often featuring Beeston Bump, documenting its unique light and kaleidoscopic shimmer. She uses layers of paint and hand-crafted collage to create texture, often giving a gem like quality to the pieces.
Her practice includes prolific use of sketchbooks as a pictorial diary, used daily to capture colour and moments.
Annie attended Chelsea School of Art and Norwich University of the Arts where she gained a BA (hons) in Fine Art.
